Installation Considerations: 1. Do not cut the tie holding the door to the child gate before installing (this is crucial). 2. There may be a gap before installation, which is not a defect or bend. If a large gap remains after tightening the bolts, continue tightening the top two bolts to reduce the space. 3. Leave a gap of approximately 0.4" to ensure the gate can open and close properly. Overtightening may prevent operation. 4. If the gate cannot be opened, loosen the top two bolts. 5. For cylindrical stairs, a U-type bolt (not included) will be required. 6. This product cannot prevent all accidents, so never leave a child unattended.
